It was pretty good so far but Em had started to get a little restless. It was a little abnormal for her. Em could sit for hours on end and read but today it was different for some reason. She could feel the nice breeze that was blowing in from her open window, gently moving her hair from side to side. Taking her dark eyes off of the book Em looked out of the bay window. It was a warm and sunny afternoon in her huge hometown. She had a great view of the city from her second floor bedroom and suddenly Em found herself needing to be out in it.
She quickly jumped off her bed and walked into her bathroom. Em adjusted her updo and fixed the small amount of makeup she had on. When she felt better about her appearance, she went back into her room and threw on a soft t shirt and shorts. Halfway through finding her shoes, Emery stopped and realized she had no idea what it was exactly that she wanted to do or show she was going to do it with. Being alone didn't sound like much fun at the moment. She knew her brother was working so meeting up with him was out of the question. But there was always her best friend, Matt, who she thought had mentioned he had the afternoon off. With a grin, Emery grabbed her phone and sent him a quick text. "Matty! Want to meet up for lunch? I miss you!! =)" Without waiting for a reply, Emery grabbed her bag and started her bag, keys, and sunglasses and made her way down the stairs towards the garage.

I will make this look pretty sooner or later : ) -----------------------------------------------
Matt had the day off. It was something that he liked a lot. It meant for him not to get all crazy on fixing cars or doing anything else that was important. It was just to sit down and relax with nothing to worry about. The only problem was that he got bored easily. There was really nothing to do. So that was the downfall of being off for the day. He could find something to do, but that meant him to get up and motivated. Sighing, the boy ran a hand through his hair, debating on what to really do with himself for the day. he could go to the beach and hang out there, but that would be boring as all get out. He could get on the boat and go chill in the ocean... but he'd have no body to talk too or even be with. It would just be simply boring, though that what he's used too at times. So why was he just bored today if it meant that he couldn't think of anything. He just sat in the chair that he has been in the past hour and a half just debating with himself on his plans for the day. Was it bad that he had ice cream for breakfast since he was that bored? Or that he had reruns of stupid stuff on his TV? Yeah, thats how truly his life is like without anything to do..
His phone chirped then. Reaching across the couch, he grabbed the iphone and looked at it. Giving a small chuckle, he hit the reply button, oh how Emery liked to call him nicknames. "Hi emmy. On my way then." Yes, at least that got him out of the house. Stretching, Matt got up from the seat off of the couch and found his shoes. There wasn't much he really needed to grab or anything, just get himself ready and head off to lunch. He grabbed the remote and shut the TV off, then reached down to grab his keys and his wallet. Looking around, he made sure that there was nothing else he needed. His sunglasses were already in the car, so that was something less that he had to go find. With a short nod, he shoved his phone into his pocket and locked the door behind him as he walked down the stairs in front of the house and right to his car. Turning the ignition on and that stuff, he pulled out of the drive way and left. She never specified where she wanted to go, hopefully it was just somewhere simple like McDonalds or Burger King or just something. He wasn't too picky on where to eat, hopefully he could just find her car somewhere and know that that was the place they were going to have lunch at. At a red light, he pulled his phone out and sent a quick text to her, "Where are we meeting so that I don't look like an idiot?" He set his phone into the cup holder, now waiting for a reply from her.
ooc;; sorry that this is icky.. will get better!!
